Ski for Green
December 20th, 2007 - Launch of SkiforGreen.ca raises awareness of environmental issues.
In an effort to raise awareness on global climate change and other environmental issues, Brian Jones of Fredericton, NB is planning to ski to the North Pole in April 2008.
Sponsored by Science East, Aliant, and Red Cow Marketing & Technologies, Brian will be making this arduous trek to challenge other New Brunswickers to learn about climate change and other environment problems facing us all.
All funds raised by Brian's trek will be used to support Science East initiatives focused around climate change and the arctic.
